總結:Central Sumatra Basin is one of the oil-producing basins, operated by PT. Chevron Pacific Indonesia. Stratigraphycally, Central Sumatra Basin is consisted of pre-Tertiary to Recent rocks that were deposited from non-marine to open marine. Recently, Biostratigrafi framework refers to EUcstasy of Haq et al, 1987. Actually, It couldn’t be used further because of the relative changes in sea level is different in each region and is strongly influenced by local tectonics, so the model will be different each other The research was compiled proving the difference. The study was begun with biostratigrafi, log curves and seismic data collection. Biostratigraphy data will provide zonation, bathymetry changing, sequence horizon and determine candidate sequence. Log curves were analyzed to determine grain size changing that will provide information about the energy changes that lead to changes in the environment of deposition. While the seismic data used to identify sequence occurring in the study area The results showed that during Oligocene to Middle Miocene, the research area has twelve sequences which is limited by the SB (Sequence Boundary), the first sequence is limited by the field of SB 26 Ma while the youngest is limited by the field of SB 7 Ma. Sequence age is different with previous, both in terms of quantity and in terms of age the numbers obtained, whereas the biostratigrafi data used are from the same well data. In addition, the most important results of this study concluded that the sequence occurred during the Oligocene to Miocene period was different from the previous model that has become the reference model so that the eustasy model from Bill Haq et al, 1987 cannot be applied in Central Sumatra Basin, exactly
