الملخص:Various sand control technologies have been tried in the MHK field to overcome the sand problem in shallow reservoirs, but the success rate is still low. This is caused by the determination of technology that is not precise without considering reservoir conditions and well completion. Therefore, that a lot of potential loss of production opportunities (LPO) occurs in shallow reservoirs that have sand problems due to the lack of methods that are in accordance with the characters in the MHK field. The aim of this final project is to develop techniques and methods to overcome operational problems related to shallow reservoirs which have sand problems by making several alternatives to overcome problems in their operations by minimizing the risk of production failure. Using the Kepner Tregoe (KT) combination for Situation Assessment and finding the root cause based on the facts. Selection alternatives were analyzed using the Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART). The analysis and application of the Kepner Tregoe (KT) and SMART methods will be carried out with group discussions consisting of various disciplines and experts in their fields such as General Manager, Senior Manager, Well Intervention Engineer, Subsurface Development and Planning Engineer, Production Engineer. The Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) is suitable for use as an analysis for decision makers in a short time, so that the best alternative can be selected quickly according to current operational needs. The alternative proposed is the sandbox method which is the most ideal to be implemented in the MHK field to overcome production in shallow marginal reservoirs that have sand problems.
