Summary: | This study aimed to determine the potential of the probiotic combination Lactobacillus sp. and Moringa oleifera leaf extract in broilers to increase consumption and feed efficiency in broilers. This study used 27 broilers with Cobb CP-707 strain obtained from PT Charoen Pokhpan. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) which was randomized into 9 treatments with 3 replications for 35 days. Group a0b0 (MOL 0% + Probiotic 0%), a1b0 (MOL 1% + Probiotic 0%), a2b0 (MOL 2% + Probiotic 0%), a0b1 (MOL 0% + Probiotic 1%), a1b1 (MOL 1% ) + Probiotic 1%), a2b1 (MOL 2% + Probiotic 1%), a0b2 (MOL 0% + Probiotic 2%), a1b2 (MOL 1% + Probiotic 2%) and a2b2 (MOL 2% + Probiotic 2%) . Data were analyzed by Analysis of Variant (ANOVA). If a significant difference was found in each treatment, it was continued with Duncan's Multiple Range Test. The results showed that a1b1 (MOL 1% + Probiotic 1%) increased feed consumption and a0b2 (MOL 0% + Probiotic 2%) decreased feed consumption. Group a1b2 (MOL 1% + Probiotic 2%) showed the best results on feed efficiency in broilers. Probiotics can help increase feed efficiency with the volume of bacteria, while Moringa oleifera leaf extract helps stabilize the conditions of livestock and bacteria, so that livestock can be properly cared for and achieve optimal growth. |
