Description
Summary:Aglaia odorata Lour is a medicinal plants used as traditional medicine. Aglaia odorata used for the treatment of heart diseases, bruises, wound, febrifuge and poisoning that causes vomiting (Bunyapraphatsara, 2000). In addition, Aglaia odorata can be used to treat flatulence, dizziness, accelerate delivery, boils, smell of the body (Hariana, 2009). And for gonorrhea, skin diseases (Gunawan et al., 2001). Standard parameter which used in this research refers to Herbal Pharmacopoeia of Indonesia. This research will compare the result of standardization of Aglaia odorata from Purwodadi, Trawas and Temanggung. The result of the standard parameter of Aglaia odorata Leaves simplicia are: drying shrinkage Purwodadi (8,98% ± 0,12), Trawas (9,43% ± 0,12), Temanggung (9,70% ± 0,07);ash content Purwodadi (6,86% ± 0,24), Trawas (7,41% ± 0,36), Temanggung (7,97% ± 0,14); acid insoluble ash content Purwodadi (1,11% ± 0,03), Trawas (1,06% ± 0,03), Temanggung (1,17% ± 0,03); water soluble extractive Purwodadi (14,10% ± 0,21), Trawas (12,30% ± 0,29), Temanggung (14,55% ± 0,34); ethanol soluble extractive Purwodadi (15,39% ± 0,30), Trawas (13,60% ± 0,41), Temanggung (15,09% ± 0,35); flavonoid content Purwodadi (5,08% ± 0,12), Trawas (4,63% ± 0,03), Temanggung (3,13% ± 0,03). The TLC’s chromatography pattern showed Aglaia odorata leaves from the three regions contain flavonoid. The result of the standard parameter of ethanol 96% extract of Aglaia odorata leaves are: Aglaia odorata leaves yield value Purwodadi 16,8%, Trawas 13%, Temanggung 8,7%; water content Purwodadi (7,55% ± 0,39), Trawas (9,77% ± 0,38), Temanggung (9,11% ± 0,38); ash content Purwodadi (9,33% ± 0,16), Trawas (9,69% ± 0,06), Temanggung (10,09% ± 0,04); acid insoluble ash content Purwodadi (0,85% ± 0,01), Trawas (1,02% ± 0,04), Temanggung (0,98% ± 0,03); flavonoid content Purwodadi (29,25% ± 0,13), Trawas (21,35% ± 0,38), Temanggung (19,38% ± 0,28). Keywords: Aglaia odorata Lour., Aglaia odorata Leaves, standardization, standard parameters of simplicia and extract.
