Summary: | The purpose of this study was to know the effect of substituting DDGS to feed
consumption and quail egg production. About 100 quails of Coturnix coturnix
japonica at 10 weeks of age were randomized into four treatments, each treatment
consisted of five replications and each replication consisted by five heads. The
treatment are the levels substitution of DDGS to commercial feed, they are P0
with DDGS 0% while the P1, P2 and P3 containing DDGS 10, 20 and 30%
respectively. The results showed that there was significantly different (p<0,05) to
feed consumption and there was not significantly different (p>0,05) to egg
production. It can be concluded that the substitution of 20% and 30% DDGS
cause increase feed consumption and the substitution of DDGS until 30% not
affect egg production. |
