總結:In general, urban drainage condition in Indonesia faces many problems. As an Indication, local or wider area flooding had usually happened. It has induced problems in urban settlements, transportation and other public infrastructures, which in return had caused great economic loss. Yogyakartaâ��s densely populated urban area has severe problems in regard to flooding zones in several locations during rainy season as the result of its drainage systemâ��s disruption. In this study, evaluation on drainage system performance was done by comparing the incoming runoff and discharge capacities of the channel, while the runoff discharge was using mean annual flood discharge data, and the analysis of the channelâ��s hydraulic capacity is using the Manning equation. Study area includes flooding zones at Jl. Parangtritis, Janti, STIPRAM, UNY, MM UGM, and Gondomanan intersection (0 KM). The results of analysis shows that many of the drainage channel capacity in flooding points could not accommodate its design discharge. This is due to sedimentation which caused decreasing capacity of the channels. In order to overcome this problem, channel normalization is needed for locations at Jl. Parangtritis, Janti, UNY, and MM UGM. Meanwhile, for STIPRAM, it will need additional capacity on its channel. On Gondomanan intersection, water inlet cleaning is needed in order to eliminate the flooding. As a conclusion an overall maintenance is mandatory in the future to keep flooding away.
