الملخص:MohoroviÄiÄ discontinuity or Moho is a boundary between the crust and upper mantle. This boundary has a characteristic that P wave velocity increased from 6,75 km/s up to 8 km/s. The velocity contrast between crust and mantle can be used to estimate the crustal thickness. Tectonic process is a factor that caused different value of the crustal thickness at every region. This research has mapped the Moho depth under 110 MERAMEX (MERapi AMphibian EXperiment) seismic stations in central of Java and Yogyakarta. We use stacking H-κ technique (Zhu and Kanamori, 2000) from receiver function data of MERAMEX stations to map the depth. This technique uses the different travel-time between the direct P wave with the Ps, PpPs and PsPs+PpSs phase. This different travel-time can be computed using estimation of the depth value of Moho discontinuity boundary (H) and ô ô /ô ô ( ô) under receiver station. The average value of Moho depth from this research is 33,54 km and ô value approximately 1,65. The shallow Moho depth values are found at Yogyakarta and Semarang with approximately value between 25 â 33 km. But, the deep ones are found at Sindoro, Sumbing, Lawu and Ungaran Mountain with approximately value between 39 â 43 km
