ASSOCIATION BETWEEN ENDOTHELIAL NITRIC OXIDE SYNTHASE (ENOS)EXPRESSION AND VASCULAR REMODELING IN ACUTE KIDNEY INJURY MODEL AFTER ISCHEMIC/REPERFUSION EPISODE IN MICE
BACKGROUND: Acute Kidney Injury is well known for its clinical problem with Ischemic/Reperfusion(I/R) injury as the most common cause. eNOS is assumed to has protective effect to the renal vascular. AKI can be detected by serum creatinine level measurement and vascular remodeling observation. Theref...

Summary: | BACKGROUND: Acute Kidney Injury is well known for its
clinical problem with Ischemic/Reperfusion(I/R) injury
as the most common cause. eNOS is assumed to has
protective effect to the renal vascular. AKI can be
detected by serum creatinine level measurement and
vascular remodeling observation. Therefore, the
association between eNOS and vascular remodeling was
made.
OBJECTIVES: To elucidate the association between eNOS
and vascular remodeling in acute kidney injury after
ischemic-reperfusion episode in mice.
METHODS: Twenty four Balb-C mice were divided into 4
groups |
