Product development used value engineering method with product concepts based on material ingredients made from 100% corn and a mixture of corn flour and maizena with combination 90%:10%, 80%:20% and 70%:30%. The best development concept with the highest value was a mixture of 90% corn flour and 10% maizena with the best shape similar like rice and has mellow texture.
