condition and functions to be able to continue to support the implementation of the
main task. The cost of building maintenance office of the Provincial Government
of West Kalimantan amounting to 0,25 per cent of Budget Income and Regional
Spending by 2013.
This research aims to analyze the efficiency of costs associated with the
absorption of the budget the maintenance costs, the effectiveness of the
maintenance costs associated with the applicable standard maintenance fee and the
factors that affect the magnitude of the cost of maintenance of the buildings of the
government office building of West Kalimantan Province. Analysis tools used are
descriptive analysis and multiple regression analysis of the data panel. The
dependent variable is the cost of building maintenance office and the independent
variable is wide of building, age of building, number of floors, number of
bathrooms, number of employees and dummy elevators. The number of samples
research 18 (eighteen) of local department from 2010 until 2013.
Research results by using descriptive analysis showed that the level of budget
efficiency maintenance costs relatively low, i.e., below the 10 (ten) percent. The
local department that has the lowest efficiency level for 4 (four) years in a row
namely the UPRS. The level of effectiveness of the maintenance costs are under 30
(thirty) percent of standard maintenance costs decline in 2011 and then rise back up
to the year 2013, although not as high as in 2010. Unit museum be the local
department that secretes the maintenance costs above standard cost prevailing
during 4 (four) years in a row. The result analysis of multiple regression panel data
show that variable the building age, number of employees and dummy elevators
have positive effects and significantly while the number of bathrooms have
negative effects and significantly to the maintenance costs of office building.
Variable wide of building and the number of floors have unsignificant effect to the
maintenance costs of office building.
