總結:The effect of variations of concentration of FeCl3.6H2O, calcination temperature and pH solution on the synthesis of Fe-TiO2 by sol gel method had been studied. The synthesis of Fe-TiO2 was done by mixing titanium ( IV ) isopropoxide (TTIP) in ethanol and FeCl3.6H2O with the variation of concentrations 1,2,3,4, and 5 wt%. The variations of calcination temperature were done by using of FeCl3.6H2O 5 wt% at 300, 400, 500,600 and 700ºC. The variations of pH solution of FeCl3.6H2O 5% were done by adding the acid or base solution to adjust the pH at 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10. As control experiments, undoped TiO2 was also synthesized using the same method without FeCl3.6H2O addition. All samples were characterized by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR), Diffuse Reflectance UV Visible ( DR UV ), Scanning Electron Microscopy with Energy Dispersive X Ray (SEM EDX) and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM). The XRD, DR-UV, FTIR and SEM EDX analysis showed that concentration of 5 wt% of Fe dopant resulted a smaller crystal size that was equal to 8.79 nm (TiO2=3,28 eV) which resulted a shift on the absorption spectra to the visible region. The presence of Ti-O-Fe vibration absorption on FTIR at wave number of 2200 cm- 1 indicated that the Fe has been successfully doped into the TiO2. These results were supported by SEM EDX data that showed the a Fe component was 1,52%. The XRD results showed that in temperature variations obtained the best results at a temperature of 500º C and higher temperature of calcination resulted in the transformation of crystal phase into rutile phase that will lead the absorptions are more shifted towards the visible light. pH solution of Fe salt affected the amount of Fe3+ species formed so in this variations the best results were obtained at pH 2 because Fe3+ species are more formed in acidic pH.
