總結:The study area is located in western part of Kendeng Zone, Northeast Java basin. It is a hilly zone, built up from very intensive deformation that elevated as Kendeng anticlinorium. Oil seepages are found in varying degrees of biodegradation and likely controlled by thrust fault and fold structure. The relations of fault-induced folding and migration pathways which derived from the field features are presented on the basis of the measured stratigraphy, fault rock theory, conceptual model of an ideal self-similar thrust sheet, and theoretical prediction for fault-fracture-migration relation. Since study area is dominated by over thrust and thrust fault which do not penetrated into the basement, continuing development of these subsurface processes caused the formation to imbricate south-north orientation and folding. The fold developed by thrust-induced fold that offers the opportunity to document the penetrative fracturing within thrustinduced fold. Thus the easiest migration pathways for hydrocarbons would be lateral migration, with north-south dipping Eocene-Oligocene series directly connecting the syncline Pati kitchen with adjacent eroded Kerek Anticlinorium. However, an alternative hypothesis is to also consider that the migration is from the hanging wall, across or along the intervening thrust planes.
