At any resistance carried out, generally have a goal that is to get freedom or justice. This study aims to assess the resistance of Autonome Moluksche Kerk (Autonomous Moluccan Church=AMK) to Indische Kerk. Based on the results of studies conducted through historical research, found that AMK is a religious movement that fosters local nationalism in the Moluccas Protestant Church, the against Protestantsche Kerk in Nederlandsch-Indie (Indische Kerk) with a system of hierarchy and autocratic leadership The sources used to reconstruct the history of resistance the AMK against Indische Kerk in this study, obtained at the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI), Jakarta and Indonesia Church History Documentation Center (PDSGI) Theological College of Jakarta (STT-J), also an original published by Ch.F. van Fraassen. applied in the church at that time. In the struggle against to Indische Kerk (1931-1933), AMK requires the establishment of an autonomous Moluccas Protestant Church and the conggregation that became the basic of the church development. In addition, the AMK also wishes to make a democratic church leadership in the Moluccas. In general, every movement made by the oppressed always considered wrong by the authorities. This is experienced AMK as a group that feels oppressed in the midst of life being controlled by the Indische Kerk, where when AMK resistance to discrimination, hierarchy and autocratic leadership in the Indische Kerk they are wrong and violate regulations by the authority Indische Kerk. Resistance of AMK against to Indische Kerk, an important historical lesson to be understood thereform is the change in the middle of the injustice of a system of leadership of the church or religious in Moluccas will never materialized without a movement that aims to transform.
