It is a policy and strategy in outcomes, academic levels and quality of qualification, and is widely recognized as such as in the international academic and professional communities. CQF is intended to ensure equivalency comparison within the Kingdom in the standards of national and regional qualifications. The purposes the CQF are: 1. To provide nationally consistent recognition of outcome achieve in each qualifications of education and training. 2. To help with developing flexible pathways which assist people to move more easily between the education and training sectors and between those sectors and labor market by providing the basic for recognition of prior learning, including credit transfer, experience and current competency. 3. To offer flexibility to suit the diversity of purposes of education and training. 4. To encourage individuals to progress through education and training by improving access to qualifications, clearly define avenues for achievement, and generally contributing to lifelong learning. 5. To encourage the provision of more and higher quality vocational education and training through qualifications that meet individual, workplace and vocational needs, thus contributing to national economic performance. 6. To promote national and international recognition of qualifications offered in the Kingdom of Cambodia. 7.
