Deferent factors effect on level of stress, variant of BDNF gene may thus play a key role in genetic predispositions to stress. This review article hypothesised that there is a correlation between IAD, level of stress, and BDNF gene (Met66Val) polymorphism; medical students with high levels of stress and IAD may carry BDNF met-allele.
