The countries consists of Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and Singapore. This study would like to investigate the significant relationship between Crime Rate (CR) as dependent variable with all the independent variables namely Income Inequality (GINI), Inflation (CPI), and Population Rate (PR) as well as Unemployment Rate (UR). Panel Regression Random Effect model is implemented to this study and interactive software package E-views 10 would be used for testing and analyzing the data collected. This study will be done based on quarterly time panel data over the period from 2007 Quarter 1 until 2017 Quarter 4 with 44 observations. The findings benefit various parties such as investors, policy makers, and the future researcher. The results concluded that inflation, and population rate have the major effects in determining the crime rate.
