Therefore, to achieve the objective, questionnaires have been developed and distributed among students of Diploma of Accountancy from UiTM It is expected that this paper will provide an insight of the factors that affect students' interest to pursue study in accounting and to identify the barriers that hold them from proceeding to higher level of education in accounting.
