Summary: | Alternative medicine is considered as same important as modern medicine today. Alternative medicine is not only can be found in our country Malaysia but also at other country in the world. Many people rely on the alternative medicine especially who live in the rural area and far from hospital. Alternative medicine usually can be found in rural in Kampung but todays it also can be found in the urban area. There are many perception about the alternative medicine among people, for who live in the urban and only receive the modern medicine they not trust alternative medicine effectiveness until they undergo the treatment using alternative medicine. The question of awareness of public servants in practicing alternative medicine is hard because they background is not all live in the urban but there are also from the rural area. Therefore, this research is focusing on the public servants on how high their awareness in practicing the alternative medicine. In this case study, the main concern is to get an overview of the Kota Kinabalu Insolvency Department staff perception and their awareness on alternative medicine. This only to get their awareness and to know their general knowledge and from where they were expose to alternative medicine. This research was done in random sampling survey whereby the set of 50 questionnaires are distributed to the staff of Insolvency Department Kota Kinabalu. The result on the findings show that public servants awareness and perception towards the alternative medicine through their different background such as age, gender, religion and level of education as well. |
