This chapter are focused on the political background in rural area that located at Sarawak. It is focus on the factor that influencing the voting preference of the Lun Bawang community in rural area. The areas of case study are located at Kampung Puneng Berayong in N.81 Ba’ Kelalan which located in P.222 Lawas parliamentary. The introduction for this part of research is background, problem statement, research objective, scope of the study, significant of the study and the lastly the definition of terms and concepts used in this study.
