Description
Summary:Given that the world is religiously diverse, how do home religions negotiate the achievability of salvation for the adherents of foreign religions? This article surveys Jewish, Christian, Islamic, Hindu and Buddhist inclusivisms.  This paper distinguishes between theistic inclusivism and non-theistic inclusivism since salvation is understood differently from theistic and non-theistic religions. Theistic inclusivism maintains that all paths run through God, whereas non-theistic inclusivism maintains that the core of salvation is escape from the cycle of rebirth and suffering.
