Geobacillus stearothermophilus was used as biological indicator for disinfection process. The effect of blades after irradiated in plasma was also studied by SEM analysis. It was found that the disinfection process was effective when the cylindrical configuration was applied. Carbon steel blade was also found to be deteriorated after immersed in plasma irradiation. Results indicate that disinfection can be achieved and at the same time deteriorations of the tools were observed. 2010-08-23T02:28:47Z 2010-08-23T02:28:47Z 2010 Article IEEJ Transactions on Fundamentals and Materials, vol.130(4), pages 355-361 0385-4205 http://www.jstage.jst.go.jp/browse/ieejfms/130/4/_contents http://hdl.handle.net/123456789/8980 en The Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan
