Description
Summary:Electricity is one of the most important things in daily life. From home to industries, electricity played important role in smoothen and ease people’s works. Correspond to the developing technologies, buildings and infrastructure also has been developed and built excessively which resulting in increasing energy consumption. The demand has made the electricity technologies grown very well to fulfil people’s need. However, there are still over 1.6 billion people around the world live without electricity in the remote area [12]. The issue arises because commonly remote areas are lack of facilities and technologies to generate electricity which make that specific area a little setback to be compare to other places, even they are in the same region or country. So, to overcome that particular issue, this project will create a simple biomass engine which is suitable for the remote area surrounding that has a tons of resource supplies for the use of this engine. This study was carried out to be as a guide paper for future reference and study in designing and developing a biomass engine. This project started with some journal and research reading. After the problem has been identified, objective of this project becoming clearer. As all information needed was completely acquired, the development process was started, and some experiment was conducted to test the reliability of the product as well as to fulfil the objective of this project.
