Summary:Active RFID tags have been widely used for monitoring applications. However, high power consumption becomes one of the drawbacks of the active RFID tags. Most of the active tags uses sleep mode to reduce power consumption. However it can cause data lose because the tag cannot receive any data during the sleep mode. Tag RFID aktif telah banyak digunakan untuk aplikasi pemantauan. Namun, penggunaan kuasa yang tinggi menjadi salah satu kelemahan tag RFID aktif. Kebanyakkan tag RFID aktif menggunakan mod rehat untuk mengurangkan penggunaan kuasa pada tag. Walaubagaimanapun, penggunaan mod rehat pada tag boleh menyebabkan tag tidak dapat menerima data dan seterusnya akan berlaku kehilangan data semasa berada dalam keadaan mod rehat.
