Description
Summary:Environmental issues such as pollution and the use of unrecyclable material are considered the global crises. As a result, green supply chain management (GSCM) was introduced as an alternative to the traditional approach of supply chain management (SCM) for environmental sustainability. This paper examines the impact of GSCM practices on the performance of: manufacturing, environment and economy by structural equation modelling. A total of 104 respondents were randomly selected from MS ISO 14001 manufacturing certified companies’ represent 43.15 percent of the population. . The variables and the relationships between variables in the structural equation model are determined via interview with 24 representatives from various companies. The structural equation modelling analysis confirmed that there is a positive correlation between the variables especially greening production and manufacturing performance, environmental performance, and economic performance; while manufacturing performance has significant influence on the environmental performance.
