The design. simulation and fa brication of the antenna have been described. The simulation of the antenna was done using Microwave offi ce. The comparison between simulated and fabr icated result are discussed and its shows that the resonant fr equency fr om simulation and measurement has been shifted from2.4IGHz to 2.38 GHz but still acceptable and both are giving good return loss. The simulated and fabri cated bandwidth is about 9.9% and 11.6% respectively. The half-power beamwidth (HPBWj for both E and Hplane was f ound to be 28 degrees. The gain ofthe microstrip array antenna is 8dB higher than monopole antenna.
