Summary: | This study aims to examining the relationship between resource complementary as resource advantage and IJV stability through the mediating effect of trust. Through a survey collected from 227 international alliance projects in the UAE real estate and answered by the project leaders, the Smart-Pls analysis shows that there is significant positive relationship between resource complementary and IJV stability as well as trust development. We also find that trust is partially mediated the relationship between resource complementary and IJV stability among real estate projects. The fining of this study brings a new insight to the body of knowledge in how to develop sustainable international joint venture in the developing countries where the literature still death. In addition, this research contributes to both the real estate literature and the policymakers in the UAE through providing empirical results that facilitate the development of stable IJV in the real estate sector. |
