The study also explores the mediating position of organizational justice between the psychological contract breach and organizational citizenship by using social exchange theory. The study was conducted on nurses employed in leading hospitals of Islamabad, Pakistan. By evaluating each variable on a five-point Likert scale, data was collected by using the questionnaire. The data was analyzed using version 22.0 of the statistical package for social sciences. The study findings show that the breach of psychological contract is negatively linked with organizational citizenship behaviour. The findings also show the mediating effect of organizational justice on the relationship between the breach of psychological contract h and organizational citizenship behaviour. Therefore, to sustain organizational citizenship behaviour amongst nursing staff, there is a need to bring changes in the organizational setup in such a way that breach of psychological contract would be minimized.
