Summary: | This analysis is to know the perception of the teacher toward headmasters of the secondary schools in Kubang Pasu district. The analysis is based on the demographic factors which influenced the effectiveness of the headmasters such as sex, academic qualification, age goup, school and period of services. The selection of the respondents is
carried out ad hoc on 202 teachers from 9 secondary schools in Kubang Pasu District Kedah. The set of questionnaires which consists of 2 closed items and 55 items of Likert scale was used as the instrument of the study. The hypotheses were tested by using the
statistical t-test. ANOVA analysis and Pearson correlation in order to find the existence of significant differences between demographic factors and the effectiveness of the
headmasters. Based on the study it was forward that there were significant between the above factors. On the other hand, it was found that there were no significant between the school factor and effectiveness of the headmaster. There were also no significant relationship between age group, sex and period of services and the effectiveness of the headmaster. However there was a significant relationship between academic qualification
and the effectiveness of the headmaster. Based on the analysis suggestion were made to improve the effectiveness of the headmaster. |
