الوصف
الملخص:“Socio economic Differences in Old Age Mortality” addresses another “hot topic”;the process of aging and how biological and social factors interact in the individual trajectory from good health to death. The process of aging is hard to separate fromdeteriorating health, both being susceptible to environmental and social factors. The central research question of this book, whether social mortality differences decrease with age in old age, helps to find out if getting older also implies more biologicaldetermination or, on the contrary, continues and accumulates environmental andsocial influences.
