Summary:Abstract. This descriptive study aims to investigate whether there are differences in the courtship practices of adolescents studying in a Catholic and Non-sectarian schools. A qualitative approach will be used to identify courtship behavior and preferences of these students. Twenty-four high school students in their 4th year will be selected using a purposive sampling method. Twelve students will be selected from Quiapo Parochial School while the other half will come University of the East High School. An interview will be conducted to obtain the data needed. Data obtained from the interview will be qualitatively analyzed using a content analysis. Four categories were generated by the study namely: activities involving interactions, means of communication, courting the family, and giving or receiving gifts. Results showed that there are no significant differences in the courtship practices of adolescents studying a Catholic and Non-Sectarian Schools.
