總結:This study aims to develop regression models for the rapid assessment of water quality of Laguna De Bay. Four techniques in regression were tried to obtain the best regression models through the study of correlation and regression among the lake's water quality parameters: Five-Day Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD5), Dissolved Oxygen (DO), Total Suspended Solids (TSS), Temperature (Temp), Nitrates, Chloride and pH level. However, the study only found models for four sampling stations only excluding South bay, which showed no notable correlation. Each parameter selected was taken as dependent variable one at a time. The results were based on the linear, multiple linear, polynomial and exponential regression analyses performed on the water quality results of the 252 samples collected by the Laguna Lake Development Authority. These samples were taken from the five monitoring stations in the lake from January 1996 to December 1998.
