الملخص:Acute toxicity tests were conducted to determine the mortality rate of edible snails Ampullaria luzonica to lead. The 96hr LC50 was estimated by using the linear regression method. It was generally observed that the percentage mortality of Ampullaria luzonica increased as the levels of lead concentrations increased. In the control group (0 mg/L), mortality was observed at 2.22 percent. Snails exposed to 150 mg/L of lead obtained a 43.3 percent mortality. In the 155 mg/L cocentration, mortality was 44.4 percent. Snails in the 160 mg/L concentration showed a mortality of 46.6 percent. In the 165 and 170 mg/L lead concentrations, mortality was 53.3 percent. The median lethal concentration (LC50) of lead to edible snails Ampullaria luzonica was estimated at a value of 165.63 mg/L.
