總結:Most often than not, the design and specification of user interfaces eats up a considerable portion of the software developers time. The developers productivity is diminished as he is burdened with writing and debugging a considerable amount of code for the interface part of the software alone. However, with the advent of automated tools, such as User Interface Management System, the design and implementation complexities can significantly be reduced. This paper looks into an object-oriented approach in the design and implementation of Vision+: A user interface management system. A non-language-specific object-oriented software development methodology is presented, along with other issues related to interface design. The applicability of this approach in the automation of the design and specification of user interfaces is presented. The objectives of the system is outlined including its scope and limitations, while observations and results on how the established objectives for the project were achieved is also explained. Finally a conclusion is given and recommendations for future work is suggested.
