總結:Electromagnetic waves are emitted by charged particles which undergo acceleration. Classically, electromagnetic wave consists of synchronized oscillation of electric and magnetic field where they are perpendicular to each other. The behavior of the electron in electromagnetic field is fundamentally governed by the 4 Maxwell’s equation, Gauss’ law for electricity, Gauss’ law for magnetism, Faradays’ law of induction and Ampere’s law. The discovery of the behavior of electron under the influence of electromagnetic wave has driven the emerge of technology across telecommunication, transport, energy transmission and health care sector. This project will be focusing on studying electrodynamics theory and developing code that can simulate the manipulation of electron bunches by electromagnetic field. The behavior of the electrons bunches of 100 electrons contained within 1 femtosecond was simulated in continuous plane waves and pulse plane waves under various electric field strength ranging from 1 TV/m to 10 TV/m.
