الملخص:Mobile networks form an essential part of daily life and an integral part of the modern society as it enables the possibility of communications between distant places. With the advent of the first mobile cellular network (GSM - Global System for Mobile Communications) in 1994 in Singapore, it has seen much technological advances and growth from the 3G network in the early 2000s to the latest 5G network in the 2020s. This paper aims to walk the reader through the evolution of the mobile cellular network in Singapore to the design and construction of the antenna that enables access to the mobile network for users.
