Description
Summary:Renewable energy is a growing sector of the energy generation market in the world today. The U.S. Energy Information Administration predicts renewable energy will make up 17 percent of total electrical generation by 2035. Renewable energy comprises wind, hydropower, biofuels and solar energy. With an increasing acceptance of alternative energy sources in the energy market, advances in technology and federal tax credits can allow us to create a renewable power products or services with increasing demand. Therefore, a research / study of this area have been a key issue to improve our lives and keep our environment clean using renewable energy. This project of a hybrid solar/wind power converter using electronics power circuits designed in a simulation environment using PSIM Simulation Software also share the same objective and it will give us a better awareness and understanding of how the circuitry of these two renewable energies (solar/wind) work.
