The scope of the project covers companies listed in the Stock Exchange of Singapore, which are generally more prone to creative accounting activities. Lastly, creative accounting techniques are used on financial statements of a manufacturing company to illustrate its effects. Based on the research findings, there is little evidence to support the view that creative accounting is widely used in Singapore.
