الملخص:In this ever-‐changing and growing cityscape of Singapore, the loss of natural greenscape is inevitable. Ironically, in light of such losses, mega-‐structures that bear uncanny resemblance to nature are erected. Inspired by 19th Century photographer Karl Blossfeldt, the artist has chosen to create printed illusions where local bio-‐mimetic architecture permutes into digital prints and possible wearable items. The result is a series of dystopian foreign patterns that ornament the body, suggesting a distortion or an extension of man’s boundaries. Atopos is a performance-installation series presented through photographs, wearables and textiles prints.
