The project aims to investigate the emotive reasons behind keeping these intimate objects. Research findings concluded a strong association of personal identity to meaning of things we keep. Out of which, human connectivity is essential to build our persona. Technology may completely take over the need to own physical things in the future. What if every important life event will be entirely documented and saved to cloud storage forever? Would it substantiate the meaning of cherishing memories forever? Using houseplant as an intimate surrogate of your loved one, the product inspires to create mindful interactions between people separated afar. |
