Daniel Gottlieb Messerschmidt
Daniel Gottlieb Messerschmidt (; September 16, 1685 – March 25, 1735) was an ethnic German physician, naturalist and geographer who lived in the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth and later in the Russian Empire.
