Microscopic traffic simulation is one way to represent the traffic condition changing caused by changing of microscopic traffic parameters, for instance the driver behavior, that results more accurate representation over the macroscopic traffic simulation. In addition to be used for analyzing problems in traffic and transportation area, microscopic traffic simulation is also very usefull to be used in the development of real-time driving simulator projects, which one of them is Simulator Mengendarai Mobil (SMM) project.

SMM is a system designed to simulate the practical driving test which refers to prerequisites and driving test procedures have to be passed by a driver to get driving license or SIM A and one of tests is practical driving test on road. To generate a realistic and dynamic practical driving test simulation, implementation of microscopic traffic simulation based on agent model is then will be needed.

In this research, a behavior model of driving-agent is built as a part of microscopic traffic simulation that will be implemented in SMM. The driving-agent behaviour model developed includes behavior performance aspect and also decision making aspect of agent that uses agressivity as main parameter.

This research has resulted a driving-agent behavior model which can represent some of different driving-styles for different drivers so the traffic simulation which is resulted in SMM project will be more realistic and dynamic. |
