Description
Summary:XXX-field can be considered as a new field. This paper discuss about the development scenario evaluation method as a tool to repair previous POD. The objective of the study is to offer a POD evaluation that gives a more optimal recovery. However, economical side would not be an issue in this paper because it concerns more in steps of making POD for XXX-field.
That POD that offered can be divided into three scenarios that are infill drilling, WHP sensitivity, and horizontal drilling. Potential spots or areas for four scenarios were evaluated to find gas recovery. The result was analyzed to find the reservoir parameter that significantly influence the well performance. After all, the method to evaluate POD can be arranged to reach better recovery.
The conclusion of this study is that gas/unit area, pressure, permeability, and the geological location of the well are the parameters, which significantly influence the well performance. The POD evaluation method resulted from this study can significantly increase the gas recovery. Horizontal drilling gives the best result with RF = 78,56% RF, i.e. this is the best scenario. Infill drilling is in the second place with RF = 78,06%, followed by WHP sensitivity with RF = 76,67%. Meanwhile, the best combination is given by the combination of all scenarios with RF = 87,30% (case without condensate and water) and also give RF = 82,07% (case with condensate and water). Next place is the combination of base case, infill drilling, and sensitivity WHP with RF = 84,50% (case without condensate and water) and also give RF = 80,88% (case with condensate and water).
