The data used in this study was taken only for 500 km in distance from the region boundaries. USGS-PSHA-07 software was used to run the seismic hazard analysis which adapted a 3-dimension seismic source model for return periods of 475 years and 2475 years at T=0 second (PGA), T=0.2 second and T=1.0 second. Design spectral response was done for some seismic regions divided based on the range of peak ground acceleration values. The result of seismic hazard analysis for the 475-years return period has a higher value than the SNI 03-1726-2002. In case of 2475-years return period, the result has a 0.20g difference with the publication from Petersen et al. (2007). The design spectral responses resulted by this study show that IBC 2006 method produces lower values than UBC 1997 method It is suggested to refer to the IBC 2006 method when producing the design spectral response. <br /> text |
