Energy Sources had be come basic needs for a country to role their government economic stabilizer, securities, and other important sector. Energy source need to be control and manage wisely for sustainable development. Mismanagement with the energy can make disaster for human and country stabilities.Indonesia which is developing country renew their the general energy policy with Nation Energy Policy (KEN) through PP No.5/2006. National Energy Policy has purpose which are to create sustainable national energy supply. Efficiency in use, and optimal energy mix on 2025. Hence, dependent on one kind energy source like fuel must less use and start to change with alternative energy. On the national energy purpose, coal choosed as the main alternative energy, which is 33% on 2025. That condition because Indonesia has a lot of coal reverse about 61.3 billion ton.Coal use growth in Indonesia quite increase, on 1990 domestic coal consumption 5.835.619 ton, on 1998 increase to 15.601.117 ton and on 2005 reported 41.306.053, up to 700% compare on 1990.National coal consumption on 2025 predicted 181.633.493 ton, that condition increase CO2 emission, on 1998 CO2 emission 38.584.163 ton and rise up to 1200% (449.209.900) on 2025.Indonesia has less emission compare with other industrial countries, that condition not equivalent with the effort to reduce CO2 emission as one of global warming source, which is math with agreement Kyoto Protocol, 1997.Government wisdom needed for environment development, forest conservation, energy eficiency, energy diversification, and clean coal technology.
