The antenna arrays are parts of smart antenna system development intended to be used for WiMAX application in Indonesia. The antenna arrays are designed at two kind substrate, Duroid-5880 and FR-4. The antenna arrays design process use aid Ansoft Designer V2 simulator. The microstrip antenna arrays consist of four antenna linear array. The antenna has circular polarization achieved by adding a 45 degrees slot at the antenna patch. For beamforming, 4x4 butler matrixs are used as power divider and phase shifter. The antenna arrays realization has four main lobes with each gain around 9 dBi for array made on Duroid-5880 and around 2,5 dBi for array made on FR-4. This final project report also shows the measurement result of return loss, VSWR, radiation pattern, and gain for input from each port. text |
