In this final project has been done the simulation of multipath fading channel using (computer simulation) MATLAB, simulation in C language and the implementation program in C language into TMS320C6713 DSK.

Several simulations have been done to test the prototype of multipath fading channel such as testing of probability density function (pdf) histogram for the Rayleigh and Riccian channel, testing using BPSK and OFDM signal as the input of the system and testing of real time processing using the sinusoidal signal from the signal generator as the input. We found that the pdf histogram of the Rayleigh and Riccian fading signal that have been generated using Clarke's method approximate the distribution theoretically. From the computation, we know that channel parameter causes slow fading and frequency selective fading on input channel. Using the standard sampling rate of TMS320C6713 DSK, we found that the system needs adjustment in channel parameters that are used for real-time processing. In order to make processing time faster, the using of EDMA is become better choice for real-time processing. |
