The disadvantage that exactly happened is the cost that needed to flush gas hydrate from the pipe is high. These should be prevented; one of them is by calculating when the gas hydrate will be formed based on pressure and temperature profile.<p>Gas hydrate is a solid crystalline that is formed because of smaller gas molecules than butanes are stabilized by water molecules in conditions of high pressure, low temperature, and high gas concentration. The most important consideration in hydrate formation is that liquid water must be present. Molecules that usually occur in gas hydrate are methane, ethane, propane, isobutene, normal butane, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and hydrogen sulfide, where methane is occurs most abundantly in gas hydrate.<p>From the descriptions above show that very important to prevent the form of gas hydrate. These study is done by comparing several equations that have been published before. Main factors that affect the form of gas hydrate are gas composition that also can be converted to specific gravity, and also pressure and temperature. <br /> text
