Electrochemistry deals with the study of chemical changes caused by the passage of an electric current and the production of electrical energy by chemical reactions. An electrochemical experiment usually used electrochemical cell with three electrodes, which are auxiliary electrode, reference electrode, and working electrode in a solution with certain concentration. In this case, auxiliary electrode and reference electrode are used to stream current at the working electrode. Generally, current that flows from the working electrode is the value that is observed during the experiment. In order for the research to runs properly, accurate voltage controller equipment is needed. Potentiostat is a tool that is used for controlling voltage on the electrochemical cell. Potentiostat has two main tasks, which are to provide a constant voltage on the reference electrode, and to stream current at the working electrode. This study aims to develop design of an inexpensive simple Potentiostat which can be used in various type of electrochemical experiment, especially electrochemical experiment that is using chronoamperometry method. <br /> text
