This condition inspired the writer to compose a business plan for a company that is offering a tower maintenance service, under the name of Wahana Pilar Adhyatma.<p> <br />

Wahana Pilar Adhyatma (W.P.A) is a maintenance service company that is located in Jakarta, Indonesia. Here, Wahana Pilar Adhyatma acts as the third party maintenance service provider for telecommunication service providers and tower owners to provide maintenance works for their telecommunication infrastructures. We know that the reliability of service for each telecommunication service provider is mainly determined by their service coverage level. Telecommunication tower play the key role as the main supporting factor in delivering good service to the customer because tower or B.T.S and to keep the tower on the best performance, it must be properly and regularly maintained.<p> <br />

W.P.A. is here to help the telecommunication service providers and tower owners to maintain the integrity and performance of their tower through maintenance service work for the B.T.S. towers. This maintenance service encompasses a monthly monitoring routines and repairing for all towers enlisted in the work contract. Aiming to be the market leader in the tower maintenance services, W.P.A. is focusing on delivering the best maintenance service quality toward their customer. To do that, W.P.A. is employing highly skilled and experienced workers in order to ensure the quality of all works. Starting this business by marketing maintenance service towards Java and Sumatra, W.P.A. will gradually move on to serve all the regions in Indonesia and aiming to be the market leader for tower maintenance service in Indonesia.<p> <br />

For its maintenance service, W.P.A. will need an initial investment in amount of IDR 398, 192, 000. This investment will cover the cost for the materials and equipments needed to operate the maintenance business. According to our calculation, we find that this business has a positive NPV value of IDR 2.773.122.321 for 6 years and an IRR of 174% that is above the MARR. This business also have a payback period that are less than 1 years. This indicate that this business is very feasible and yet promising. |
