Summary: | Production process plays a very important role in an industry. Through the production process, an added value can be added to its material or basic row. This added value will distinguish the production process compare to the others. The higher the added value that can be added, also the higher the benefits for the industry. This situation makes every industry try to add this value into its product. That is why the production process need to be controlled so the time consume and potential utilization are well organized. Information flow is one of the most important aspects that influence the continuity of the production process. Good information system will provide an ease to control the production process because the needs of every production elements will be known, for example the needs of material, equipments, when and how much a component is needed, and processes needed to be performed. This Final Year Project will discuses the development of manufacturing system software based on Autonomous Distributed Manufacturing System which is act as information system for automotive industry, especially for material modeling. The purposes of this development application are to give the information regarding the structure of a product in the market and its substances. The offered application is a web-based software in spite to give easier way of access and manipulating data stored in database. |
